Instructor Info

Erin took her first yoga class in 2015 and found connection, fitness, strength, and so much more. Erin has been teaching yoga since 2016 and has seen the positive influence teaching and practicing yoga have had on her life. As an RYT-200 yoga instructor, Erin is a member of Yoga Alliance and has completed additional training in trauma-informed yoga, yoga assisting, and kids yoga. Erin also has extensive experience teaching yoga to veterans and military families. In addition to teaching yoga, Erin’s professional experience includes teaching middle and high school English and Reading, facilitating retreats with military veterans at Wounded Warrior Project, and practicing clinical mental health as a therapist at Mandala Family Wellness.

She teaches with a high level of empathy, meeting all clients where they are. Erin believes in using the power of yoga movements to bring awareness to ourselves and increase mindfulness.

Class Description

Morning Salutation Yoga – Start your day with this gentle and restorative practice. This all-levels 45-minute yoga class will help increase strength, wellness, and mindfulness. Salutation means greeting and, in yoga, sun salutations are movements practiced to greet the morning or close out the day. The class will start with a short meditation to build mindfulness and is followed by 20 minutes of uplifting movement through various yoga poses. The class will then shift into slower deep stretches meant to ground you and support relaxation. The practice ends with a final rest and brief closing meditation. Morning Salutation Yoga is open to all levels and all poses can be modified for various needs. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. Room location and additional details will be sent upon registration.
