Collage Day School takes pride in fostering a dynamic and innovative learning environment, where students are not just educated but inspired to explore the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Our commitment to STEAM enrichment goes beyond textbooks, creating an experiential journey that sparks creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong passion for learning. STEAM enrichment is not just an educational approach; it’s a philosophy that shapes the learning journey of each student. Through a blend of hands-on experiences, innovative programs, and a commitment to diversity, the school prepares its students to thrive in a world where creativity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary knowledge are the keys to success
Why STEAM?
- STEAM is an approach to learning that results in children who take thoughtful risks, engage in hands-on learning, persist in problem solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.
- STEAM adds the arts into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and focuses on using technology to teach art practices, elements, and design principles.
- Innovation is the difference between simply using technology and taking it beyond the instruction manual to bring ideas to life. The children that sign up for our STEAM programs will learn to take their ideas to the next level through advanced technology.

ANIMAL EXPLORERS
THURSDAYS
What to Expect:
The primary mission of the Animal Explorers Enrichment Program at Collage Day School is to create an environment where students can connect with and learn from animals. By integrating the study of biology, ecology, and animal behavior into the curriculum, the program aims to instill a deep sense of respect for all living creatures and nurture a generation of environmentally conscious and compassionate individuals. This hands-on approach not only enhances their scientific understanding but also cultivates a sense of responsibility and empathy for all living things. We are fortunate to have a 8-acre campus to utilize for this enrichment as we care and learn about all animals with a hands on approach.
