Kris Conway

Director of Early Learning

Kris Conway has over 20 years of experience in education.  After a rewarding career teaching music grades K-12, she left the classroom and discovered her true passion for Early Learning. Dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young learners, she enjoys collaborating with teachers and families to create enriching educational experiences.

Originally from New York, Kris and her husband traded snowy winters for Florida’s sunshine and sand. They are proud parents of two children and doting caretakers of their beloved pets. Outside of her work with children, she enjoys attending the symphony, reading, and cooking.

Michael Masi, M.Ed., M.A.E.L.

Head of Elementary School

Michael Masi is an accomplished educational leader with over a decade of experience in K-12 private education, specializing in school administration, curriculum innovation, and professional development. Passionate about fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments, he has a proven track record of enhancing student outcomes, supporting faculty growth, and cultivating a positive school culture.

Holding advanced degrees in Education, Educational Leadership, and Organizational Development from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Denver, Michael combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise. His leadership philosophy emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring that students, educators, and families feel valued and supported. Originally from Fort Collins, CO, he brings a visionary approach to education at Collage Day School.

Danielle Theriault, M.Ed.

Associate Head of School

Danielle is an experienced educator with over 22 years in the field, specializing in literacy, curriculum development, and instructional leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, both from the University of South Florida.

Her teaching career began in Pinellas County, where she worked with at-risk students in a dropout prevention program and focused on intensive reading and writing interventions. She later spent 10 years as a 5th-grade teacher in Pasco County Schools, refining her expertise in best teaching practices with a literacy-focused approach. Danielle then transitioned to Carrollwood Day School, a private International Baccalaureate school in Tampa, where she earned IB certification for the Primary Years Program and completed differentiation coursework at Harvard.

In 2020, she moved to South Florida and took on a leadership role as the Curriculum Coordinator for a Renaissance Charter School in Wellington. During this time, she became certified to teach the Cambridge curriculum and earned the K-12 reading endorsement. Since joining Collage Day School in 2022 as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Danielle has continued to drive academic excellence. She now serves as the Associate Head of School, overseeing curriculum and instruction to ensure an engaging and effective learning environment for all students.

Jamie Mulgrew

Associate Head of Lower School

Jamie Mulgrew is a passionate educator and accomplished school leader with 20 years of experience in teaching and administration. Originally from the UK, she holds a BA, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a Master’s degree in Education from Birmingham University, England. She also holds a Florida VPK Director Credential and is deeply committed to fostering personalized learning and high-quality early childhood education.

Jamie has held leadership roles in both the UK and the Cayman Islands, serving as a Deputy Principal in the Cayman Islands and a Headteacher in London. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to creating student-centered learning environments that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

An avid traveler, Jamie loves exploring new cultures and is currently embracing life in the USA.
