TimberNook provides nature-based, child-led play experiences that challenge the senses and inspire creativity, independence, and imagination in the great outdoors.

Collage Summer Adventure Series

A Summer of Exploration, Fun, and Outdoor Adventures!

Get ready for an unforgettable summer of offsite adventures with the Collage Summer Adventure Series! Designed for kids who love exploring the outdoors, staying active, and trying new things, this series is packed with exciting daily trips to some of the region’s most beautiful parks, trails, and beaches. Each week offers a unique blend of hiking, water activities, campfire cooking, arts and crafts, and the chance to learn about nature and animals in a fun, safe, and enriching environment.

Whether they’re paddleboarding on sparkling waters, hiking through scenic trails, or enjoying creative arts and crafts back at Collage, your child will be immersed in thrilling activities that foster teamwork, confidence, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. For the ultimate adventure, optional overnight stays add an extra layer of excitement and create memories your child will cherish forever!

$425 per week (9a-3p)
*Wednesday Overnight Option additional $100 per week
Extended Care: AM $30/PM $70 
*Lunch and Snacks provided for Full Day at additional charge

Day 1: Live Oak Trail and Tillie Fowler Park

  • Morning: Hike the scenic Live Oak Trail at Tillie Fowler Park, discovering the beauty of the park’s island trail.
  • Midday: Participate in animal care, learning about responsibility and compassion for animals.
  • Afternoon: Engage in arts and crafts, creating nature-inspired projects to take home.

Day 2: Day Trip to Alexander Springs

  • Morning: Explore the crystal-clear waters of Alexander Springs with swimming and hiking.
  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking, making delicious treats.
  • Evening (Optional): Overnight stay at Collage (+$100).

Day 3: Beach Day

  • Morning: Enjoy a day at the beach with fishing, paddleboarding, and sandcastle building.
  • Afternoon: Picnic at the beach followed by arts and crafts and free play back at Collage.

Day 4: Animal Care & Color Run

  • Morning: Participate in animal care, helping to feed and tend to animals.
  • Afternoon: Join in a vibrant and energetic color run, followed by arts and crafts and play at Collage.

  • Morning: Hike the beautiful Willie Browne Trail, exploring local flora and fauna.
  • Afternoon: Discover Fort George Island Cultural State Park on a guided hike and learn about its history.

Day 2: Nocatee Preserve Trail & Pelican Path

  • Morning: Walk the Nocatee Preserve Trail and enjoy a scenic picnic.
  • Afternoon: Explore Pelican Path and return to Collage for arts and crafts and playtime.

Day 3: Day Trip to Mike Roess State Park

  • Morning: Spend the day hiking and enjoying nature at Mike Roess State Park.
  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking, making tasty snacks.
  • Evening (Optional): Overnight stay at Collage (+$100).

Day 4: UNF Trails & Color Run

  • Morning: Hike Golden Rod Trail and Blueberry Trail at UNF, followed by a picnic lunch.
  • Afternoon: Participate in a fun and colorful color run, followed by creative arts and crafts.

Day 5: Beach Day

  • Morning: Enjoy fishing, paddleboarding, and playing in the sand at the beach.
  • Afternoon: Picnic lunch followed by arts and crafts and playtime back at Collage

  • Morning: Spend the day surfing and swimming at the beach.
  • Afternoon: Picnic on the beach and enjoy arts and crafts, followed by additional crafting fun back at Collage.

Day 3: Day Trip to Ravine Gardens State Park

  • Morning: Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Ravine Gardens State Park with hiking and exploration.
  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking and enjoy time around the fire.
  • Evening (Optional): Overnight stay at Collage (+$100).

Day 4: Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve State Park

  • Morning: Hike the trails of Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve and enjoy a picnic lunch.
  • Afternoon: Return to Collage for arts and crafts and playtime with friends.

Day 5: Timuquana Ravine Trail & Spanish Pond

  • Morning: Hike the Timuquana Ravine Trail to Spanish Pond, learning about local wildlife and plants.
  • Afternoon: Participate in animal care and finish the week with an exciting color run back at Collage.

Day 2: Morning Hike & Arts and Crafts

  • Morning: Enjoy a guided nature hike.
  • Afternoon: Return to Collage for arts and crafts activities inspired by the morning’s hike.

Day 3: Day Trip to De Leon Springs State Park

  • Morning: Explore De Leon Springs, swimming and hiking around the stunning springs.
  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking and enjoy storytelling by the fire.

  • Morning: Explore Princess Place Preserve with hiking and sightseeing.
  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking skills.

Day 3: Day Trip to Blue Spring State Park

  • Afternoon: Practice campfire cooking and enjoy storytelling around the fire.

Day 4: Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
